Clement Bautista | Filipino Scholar
Clement Bautista recently retired from the University of Hawaii at Manoa where, for three decades, he developed, coordinated and oversaw outreach programming for educationally underserved communities. Throughout his career civil rights and ethnic relations have been at the for-front, both here in Hawaii and abroad. Currently a writer and continues to be active as a board member of Hawaii’s Plantation Village and the Filipino Community Center. He is the president of the Filipino-American Historical Society of Hawaii and administrator of the Society’s digital archives (efilarchives.org).
